"Who is Zac Barnett/American Authors - part III?"

The BoatCast is thrilled to welcome back Zac Barnett (of American Authors) to the podcast, where he reminisces about his favorite moments from TRB XXII.

Every Rock Boat is filled with unique moments. Perhaps THE highlight of this last boat was when American Authors played their new album, 'Best Night of My Life' in its entirety- and some of those songs have never been played live since. It was a magical moment for sure. Zac talks the thrill of collaboration and getting up on stage with Lit and singing their song "The Life That I Got".

As for the writing process of American Authors, Zac reflects on the genesis of the band's upcoming album. They had rented a house for 14 days and created most of the music while on site. Inspiration often struck during Zac's morning runs. Armed with an idea, he and the band would hit the studio. This next album is said to be more 'Rock' than any other they've released to date, and seems like a perfect reason to get them back on another boat ASAP. As we eagerly wait for its release, we are certain that American Authors will yet again redefine their sound and astound their fans
